Who We Are

Voices Against Tyranny: We provide services to ailing families and individuals in the areas in which we operate. Our sole goal is to help those who have been hurt by our Government and to educate those who are willing to help make changes to this system that has let so many of us down. Our website address is: https://untyranny.com. It is owned and operated by Untyranny Caucus PAC, a Texas based Political Action Committee and Federally Registered Political Action Committee with valid and good-standing registry with filings consistent with our real-time donations and expenses provided for transparency.

Comment Management: When visitors leave comments on the site we have intentionally disabled the collection of information, which includes the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent. We have automatic spam prevention and utilize Google Captcha technology to do this, and do not find it necessary to collect information from comments. You are commenting completely anonymously.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After the postage of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

EXIF and Metadata: If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. We do our best to prevent such data from being retained, and have safeguards in place to remove EXIF data during all uploads.

We Don’t Use Cookies on This Site: If you leave a comment on our site you may voluntarily opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies are under your control and are not administered by the site. This is a client-side feature which you may disable or opt out of yourself.

When you log in, we have elected to make client-side cookies your choice to accept or opt out of for saving login information and your screen display choices. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, no cookies will be saved in your browser.

Embedded content from other websites

Third Party Disclaimer: Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. For that reason, we limit the amount of content used from third-party websites. We would rather make a citation to content than use a cross-site embed.

That is because these websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We’re opposed to this and do not integrate these third party embeds for this reason. Our only exception may be YouTube and Stripe, who have unique privacy policies on their own sites.

Who we share your data with

NOBODY: We do not have any negotiations to share data with any other site or provider. Any data that you wish to enter into a Stripe Form on this website is voluntary, and we retain your data to process your order, then we immediately remove it. We simply do not believe in keeping it or sharing it, and we will process data ourselves. Any data we process is immediately destroyed after processing is finished.

How long we retain your data

Until It is No Longer Needed: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely, and as stated, that data is immediately destroyed automatically on our site. This is so we can provide a forum to comment anonymously, and safely.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

Every Right If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.

Where we send your data

In-Site, and Then Immediately to Trash: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service, after which the data is destroyed automatically.
